Susan Johnston ART

I was part of a military family, so I traveled quite a bit growing up. I was born in Santa Ana, California, and was fortunate enough to live in San Francisco and Pacific Grove, on the "seventeen mile drive". My dad played the trumpet, earlier in his life professionally at the Hotel Monteleon in New Orleans. My mom was a painter. I began painting seriously in my twenties, learning from my mother and earning a BFA from what was then called Augusta College.
